JOURNAL D

I like to celebrate special days. For example, my family’s and friend’s birthday every year, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day and graduation’s day etc. Especially my family’s birthday is most important. We decide to hold the birthday party in holiday of everyone. This is the one of my family rule. We prepare each present and a cake and sing a birthday songs, sometimes my older sister plays the viola to celebrate. I like this. Also, I like to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Among my friends, we plan a birthday party in confidence, and we surprise. What is popular recently is decorating the leading role’s desk. For example, the chair is decorated with many ribbons. It is red, pink, white and yellow etc. It’s so colorful and lovely. Also, on the desk is decorated with many pictures and many celebrate messages. It messages is “Happy birthday!! I love you~^^” etc. We keep intact the desk during the day, so it is so noticeable, but teachers don’t pay attention. After the birthday, we put the desk in order and talk about various topic. Of course we give each presents for the leading role parson, it is so glad. I got a cup, handkerchief, chocolates, bag and lunchbox etc in my last birthday. Sometimes, we go to dinner to celebrate a person’s birthday. Mostly we go to “Tachibanaya”, because it is near my high school, and there is delicious Okonomiyaki and Monjyayaki. That’s why we like to go there. Also, I like to celebrate Fathers Day and Mothers Day.In my family, older sisters and I make dishes, clean a living room and buy a bunch of carnations, because white carnations is symbol of Fathers Day and red carnations is symbol of Mothers Day. The part of giving present is differnt every year. This year was me. My father and mother are grad every year, so I like to celebrate them. It is so happy for me to celebrate someone .

  2. Panna Cotta sounds tasty. If it is so easy to make, why can't you make it? I think you mean "you haven't tried to make it yet", right? We hardly ever pass through Ueki, though. Rats!

I like the image of you all decorating another student's desk on their birthday. I didn't know about white/red carnations! I might do that for my Dad next year. Thanks for describing your celebrations!
